Mirko Caruso

My name is Mirko Caruso, I'm Italian and I'm 37 years old. I've been tattooing for about 12 years.

Over the course of my career, my artistic research has led me to develop the style I propose today: a fusion of Blackwork and Neotraditional, characterized by fluid forms strongly influenced by Art Nouveau, a marked contrast between black and skin, and references to the horror and dark imagery I've carried with me since childhood.

I prefer to draw freehand directly on the client's body, to best adapt the subject to the lines and volumes of the body. Each design is unique and never replicated.

Since 2018, I've created my own "amulet" character, called MangiaPaura (Pain Eater), whose meaning is revealed only when the tattoo is done.
